Dr. Michel Daher is Consultant Psychiatrist at Aman Lil Afia Clinic. He completed
his training in psychiatry at the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 2016 and
went on to do a Fellowship in Mood Disorders with training in brain stimulation
techniques in 2017 at AUB. He holds medical licensure in Lebanon and the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Daher worked as a psychiatrist in Lebanon in some of the most prestigious
hospitals including American University of Beirut Medical Center since 2017, with
inpatient privileges at Bellevue Medical Center since 2019 and Saint Charles
Hospital in 2017. Alongside his clinical position, he pursued his academic interest
as Instructor at AUBMC, Haigazian University in Beirut, and Doha Institute for
Graduate Studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He worked as clinical supervisor for the National Mental Health and Suicide
Helpline in Lebanon for a period of two years. His role was to supervise and train
the operators there in handling critical calls and helping direct appropriate help
and assistance to callers. With his experience working with NGOs in Lebanon, he
gained experience in treating patients from different cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His competencies lie in treating mental health disorders such as depression,
anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorders psychosis, eating disorders, ADHD, PTSD. Dr.
Daher is a strong advocate of raising awareness about mental health and
believes in the right of individuals to seek support and treatment. He believes
